The Nature of This Place (TNP) Course Proposals
YWI accepts course proposals on a continuous basis.
If you are interested in teaching a workshop, making a lecture/presentation or leading a field seminar or nature walk, please provide us with a one page proposal containing the following information and email the proposal and any relevant attachments to Tania Carlone, Executive Director, at info@yubawatershedinstitute.org or mail to YWI, P.O. Box 2198, Nevada City, CA 95959.
All instructors are offered an honorarium based upon the number of hours of instruction and applicable travel costs.
Proposal Content
- Instructor Name and Professional Title
- A brief professional biography including credentials and affiliations
- Instructor Phone Number and Email
- General course description and proposed course title (100 word limit)
- Proposed course dates or approximate time/ideal season
- What is the level of the course? Does it require previous knowledge of subject matter? Is it appropriate for youth and/or children?
